A triumphant day unfolded at The Den, University of Westminster’s state‑of‑the‑art sports facility on the Harrow Campus. Students, colleagues, and sports fans gathered in full support as Coach Clive Castillo guided the Dragons to a resounding 81–55 victory over University of East London—his 100th BUCS game in charge of Westminster Men’s Basketball.
The celebrations didn’t stop there. The energy carried into the evening with pizza, drinks, and heartfelt cheers as the community marked this historic coaching milestone .

The Den: A Beacon for Sporting Growth
Opened earlier this year, The Den has quickly become the heart of Westminster sport. Featuring a gym, courts for basketball, volleyball, netball, badminton, and seating for 180 spectators, it boosts student and staff engagement—and provides a permanent home for the Dragons to thrive.
Clive reflected:
“Coaching my 100th university game in The Den was an honour and a privilege… I have been both a student and a staff member at the University of Westminster, and throughout my time here, I have seen first-hand the impressive expansion of sports participation and educational courses we offer… The Den truly has a special energy.“
Looking Ahead
As the Dragons prepare for the next rounds of BUCS competition, Coach Clive Castillo’s century of games is a milestone—yet by no means an endpoint.
“There are many more memories to be made,”
