Castillo, who has served as head coach since 2015, has established an impressive track record, leading the Dragons to a total of nine championships and six promotions in both university and local competitions. His sixth BUCS title represents another significant milestone in a career marked by consistent excellence and impactful coaching.

From the moment Castillo took charge, the university team demonstrated a clear upward trajectory. Under his guidance, the Dragons quickly advanced through the BUCS divisions, consistently reaching the podium and culminating in their latest championship victory. BUCS Premier Playoff
The Dragons have qualified for the BUCS Premier South Play-off for the first time since 2023. They will compete against the winner of the BUCS Western Division 1 Conference for a chance to be promoted to the BUCS Premier next season. Their decisive victory against City University, with a score of 83-48 at City Sport, secured the BUCS South-Eastern Division 1 Conference, the second time in three years Westminster has won the title.
