After 15 years of dedication, success, and unforgettable memories, Coach Clive Castillo is concluding his chapter at the University of Westminster.

Since joining the Dragons, Coach Castillo has played a vital role in shaping the university’s basketball program. He helped establish a winning culture and created opportunities for generations of student-athletes.

During his tenure as Head Men’s Basketball Coach, he led Westminster to nine championships, achieved multiple league promotions, and grew the program from approximately 15 players to over 100 student-athletes. Westminster University became one of the premier basketball programmes in the country, which included a brand new £10million+ facility.

Beyond the trophies and results, Castillo’s legacy extends to the countless players he has coached, mentored, and supported throughout their university journeys. His commitment to developing talent, building team culture, and fostering a sense of belonging has made Westminster basketball about much more than what happens on the court. Coach Clive was also key in building partnerships with local communities and professional clubs, including Brent Bulls and London Lions.

Fifteen years is not just a coaching career at one institution; it is a legacy built on relationships, resilience, and a shared pursuit of excellence.

As one chapter closes, another begins. While Coach Clive Castillo’s time as a Dragon comes to an end, his impact on Westminster basketball will remain a part of the program’s history for years to come.
